Rusty and I met with the head office of Peavey Mart a few days ago to discuss how 2011 went and to plan for 2012.
One of the things that came up in the discussion was Pinksters who want to fundraise. They want you all to know that if you’d like to have a bar-be-cue or a bake sale or some other fundraiser that you’ve dreamed up, they would be happy to host you in their parking lot. That’s every Peavey Mart — everywhere. Contact the manager of the store nearest you and s/he will help you in any way possible. All you have to do is ask. It was pointed out that most of the stores do NOT have their own bar-be-cue, but most of them have a source where they can borrow one. Again, just ask.
So, what could you do in front of a Peavey Mart on a Saturday? A bar-be-cue. A bake sale. ……… A car wash? Face painting for kids? A maze done with chalk in a convoluted, disorienting pattern? Games? What kind of games that are quick to play, fun and kids would pay, say, a loonie to play against another kid?
How great is that…what an awesome company to be so supportive that they’ll help everyone involved. Cheers to them for sure
