Ed Post is a very nice man.

He works for the provincial government as a conservation officer at Dry Island Buffalo Jump (and other places in the Wainwright District).

You want to know about Dry Island, Ed’s your man.

You want to know about dinosaur fossils, Ed’s your man.

You want to know when you’re stopping for lunch on August 27th, Ed’s your man.

Ed tells me to tell you that there are no facilities during your hike, so if you think you’re likely to have to “go”, take the necessary supplies and use a tree.  He also advises you to pack water and wear appropriate footwear.  (Open toed shoes won’t cut it.  Neither will sandals.)  I guess appropriate clothing will depend on the weather that day.  Cross your fingers that it’ll be clear with a nice breeze.
