We have a rider coming from Saskatchewan, and to raise money, one of the things she’s doing is having “Spaghetti Western Night”. How does that work? Easy!
She is renting a hall, getting her hands on a projector and a couple of old (Clint Eastwood?) “spaghetti westerns” … and making it “dinner and a movie”. Spaghetti dinner! *grin* I think that is sooooooo clever! A spaghetti dinner is cheap and easy to throw together … and everybody likes it.
I can see a couple of ways to go with this. You could do two movies — Clint Eastwood type in one room and a kids’ one in the adjacent room. Or an adults-only night (with an open bar?
I can see that as a GREAT way to get the neighbourhood together, if you’re outside of a city. Don’t think it would work so well in Edmonton or Calgary though. Might work REALLY well at a barn, if you are a boarder!
