About

22 days to ride breast cancer into the ground.

Wild Pink Yonder is a 22-day horseback trail ride.  We are “on the trail to a cure” for breast cancer.  (We ride for Alberta Cancer Foundation.)

Riders join us for a day, a weekend, a week or the whole 22 glorious days.  In our travels, we visit at least 22 towns where they compete for the title of “Pinkest Little Town in the West”.  To become the “Pinkest Little Town”, the town must raise more money per capita for our cause than the other towns we visit and, quite literally, paint their town pinker than the other towns as well.

This is a win-win-win situation.  Our riders love riding into these pink towns.  Our towns have a blast dreaming up ways to raise money and do outlandish “pinkifications”.  Alberta Cancer Foundation uses the money we raise to fund cutting-edge breast cancer research.

Please join us.  As a rider.  As a volunteer.  We’d love to have your support.

  1. No, Arlin, we don’t have that information at this time. Right now we are riding/driving team every day, visiting with new people every evening and often in yet another town the next day at noon. We are feasting, parading, cheering for monies raised, crying for loved ones lost.

It is incredibly gratifying, and yet, incredibly tiring. When monies are presented to us, we take it graciously, mark it as to what town it came from, and put it away.

Totals will come later. (Hopefully we will raise the kind of money we were aiming for.)
