Ho ho, towns! Keep your eye on Sundre!

Those people are gunners, and they REALLY want to be the Pinkest Little Town in the West 2011!

I just heard that they have already started doing small fundraisers in the stores belonging to their chamber of commerce, and are planning a town-wide fundraiser of one sort or another every month until we ride into town in August (ie. something pink happening for the Family Day weekend, something for Mother’s Day, etc).

They’re talking about getting their mayor to ride with us, but apparently she doesn’t ride!  So she was asking if anyone in town had a “nag” that wouldn’t throw her!  *grin*  I’ve offered that she can ride in the front of the wagon with me.

Oh!  And riders?  Showers!  HOT showers when we arrive.
